Newly Qualified Criminal Defence Solicitor
About the Job:
The role:
Work will include criminal defence representation for the full range of cases working
with experienced practitioner and partner Gil Spurling. You will attend the
magistrates court to represent defendants in both adjournment hearings and trials.
You will in addition have a Crown Court case-load appropriate to your skill level. You
will undertake training to be a duty solicitor. You will be expected to attend the office
five days a week unless at court.
Essential criteria:
Full practising certificate.
Experience of criminal litigation.
Good academic qualifications (minimum 2:1).
Full Police Station accreditation.
Ideally London based.
Full commitment to a career in criminal defence.
